Five frame Langstroth nucleus colonies, overwintered in North Shropshire and selected for calm temperament, reliable brood patterns and steady spring growth.

Each colony is raised by Henry across our apiaries and nurtured through autumn and winter to ensure a strong start to the season. Suitable for both new and experienced beekeepers.

Our nucs are supplied on durable ANEL plastic frames. These are hygienic, long lasting and fully compatible with standard Langstroth equipment, including Flow Hives.

In favourable conditions, colonies may be strong enough for a summer honey harvest in their first season.
