This website is operated by Eden Honey Bees. Throughout the site, the terms “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Eden Honey Bees.
By visiting our site and purchasing something from us, you engage in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions.
These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.
If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access the website or use any services.
Products and Services
We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, images, and information on this website are accurate. However, some products we sell are natural or seasonal in nature and may vary slightly in appearance or characteristics.
All descriptions of products or pricing are subject to change at any time without notice.
We reserve the right to limit the sale of our products or services to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction.
Honey Products
Our honey is produced in small batches from our apiaries in North Shropshire.
As a natural product, colour, flavour, and texture may vary between batches depending on seasonal forage and environmental conditions.
Raw honey may naturally crystallise over time. This is a normal process and does not affect quality.
Nucleus Colonies
Nucleus colonies are live livestock and their development depends on many factors beyond our control, including weather conditions, forage availability, and beekeeper management after installation.
We take great care to supply strong, healthy colonies prepared from our apiaries. However, once a colony has been collected or delivered and installed in the customer’s apiary, its future development and performance cannot be guaranteed.
Colony strength may vary slightly between colonies due to natural biological variation and seasonal conditions.
Customers should ensure they have suitable equipment, a prepared hive, and the necessary knowledge to care for a honeybee colony before purchasing a nucleus colony.
Any concerns about a colony supplied should be reported within 24 hours of collection or delivery.
Queens may naturally supersede, fail, or be replaced by the colony over time. For this reason, queen longevity cannot be guaranteed once the colony has been transferred to the customer’s apiary.
Honeybee colonies may also swarm as part of their natural lifecycle. Swarming behaviour cannot be guaranteed or prevented once a colony has been installed and managed by the receiving beekeeper.
Beekeeping involves livestock management and outcomes will vary between locations, seasons, and management practices.
Deposits for Nucleus Colonies
Deposits are taken to reserve a nucleus colony for a specific season.
Deposits are non-refundable, as they secure a place in our seasonal production schedule.
In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply a colony (for example due to weather conditions or colony development), customers will be offered either:
- a full refund of the deposit, or
- the option to transfer the deposit to a future colony.
Digital Products and Online Content
From time to time we may offer digital products such as downloadable guides, educational resources, or online courses.
These materials are provided for personal use only and must not be copied, reproduced, distributed, or resold without permission.
Access to digital products may be revoked if misuse or unauthorised distribution is detected.
Accuracy of Billing and Account Information
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made on our website.
Third-Party Links
Certain content, products, and services available via our site may include materials from third parties.
We are not responsible for examining or evaluating the content or accuracy of third-party websites.
Limitation of Liability

Customers purchasing nucleus colonies acknowledge that beekeeping involves livestock management and natural environmental variables beyond the control of the supplier.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where it would be unlawful to do so.
