Refund policy

Overview

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return, where applicable.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, in the same condition that you received it, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Some products we sell cannot be returned due to their nature (for example food products, live livestock, or digital downloads). These exceptions are explained below.

If your return is accepted, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order when it arrives and contact us as soon as possible if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item.

If your order arrives damaged (for example a broken jar or leaking honey), please contact us within 48 hours of deliverywith photographs so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Where appropriate we may offer:

  • a replacement product, or
  • a refund.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain types of items cannot be returned.

These include:

  • Food products, including honey, unless the item arrives damaged or faulty
  • Live livestock, including nucleus honeybee colonies
  • Digital products, including downloadable guides, digital resources, or online courses once accessed or downloaded
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or special order items
  • Sale items

Deposits for nucleus colonies are non-refundable, as they secure a place in our seasonal production schedule.

Because nucleus colonies are live livestock, they cannot be returned once collected or delivered.

If you have concerns about a colony supplied, please contact us within 24 hours of collection or delivery so we can assess the situation.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you receive the item you want is to return the item you have (if eligible), and once the return is accepted, place a separate order for the new item.


Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and let you know whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.
