Strong, healthy Langstroth nucleus colonies with calm temperaments - ideal for both beginner beekeepers and seasoned apiary managers. Carefully bred and locally adapted, our colonies are now available to pre-order for collection or delivery across the UK in spring 2026.

Each nuc is raised with care by Henry across one of our four North Shropshire apiaries, nurtured through autumn and winter to ensure steady spring growth, robust brood, and a thriving young queen.

Unlike many suppliers who use standard wooden frames and offer five-frame colonies, we provide six-frame nucs on high-performance ANEL plastic Langstroth frames - a more durable, hygienic, and sustainable choice.

These frames are:

• Made from durable, food-grade plastic

• Fully recyclable if ever damaged

• Designed in a single mould, with no weak points and no warping

• Easy to disinfect, helping prevent disease over the long term

• Long-lasting - no need to replace every few years like wood

• Readily accepted by bees, who behave just as naturally on them as they do on wood

📅 When Will My Nuc Be Ready?

Available for collection or dispatch between mid-May and mid-June 2026, depending on colony development and weather.
We’ll be in touch in spring to arrange a suitable date.

• Pay £50 deposit now (non-refundable)

• Remaining £220 due in March 2026

• Delivery added added to final balance if applicable
